Disability Capitol Action Day 2012!

The AT Network will be one of 32 exhibitors at the upcoming Disability Resource Fair on Wednesday, May 30th , 2012 on the State Capitol grounds in Sacramento, CA.

This event coincides with the 9th annual Disability Capitol Action Day organized by the Disability Action Coalition. The DAC has planned a full day of great events, inspiring speakers, educational resources and interaction with policy-makers…all of which will remind Californians that there is nothing about US without US.

This year’s Disability Capitol Action Day will host a number of engaging speakers including California’s Secretary of State Debra Bowen, who will speak about the importance of voting in our democracy.

Join thousands of people with disabilities and our legislative sponsor Senator Ellen Corbett to change hearts and minds by registering today!

So far the forecast calls for sunny skies, so make sure to check the weather report for Sacramento and bring sunscreen if needed.

Have you been to Disability Capitol Action Day or the Disability Resource Fair at the Capitol before? If so, what was your experience?
